The 100 season 6 episode 11

When push comes to shove, they find a way out of scrapes. They might not all make it out, but they find a way to get through. Just kidding! I was very nervous and totally expected someone not to make it out. Last week scarred me I guess! But maybe she should have.

Clarke ends up driving too fast and wrecks the bike and destroys the radio in the process. With the Sanctum guards on their tail, they need to find a place to hide. Speaking of being stuck, Raven and Abby get arrested immediately upon returning to Sanctum with Simone. Oh, and Miranda is dead, too. Simone has had it. But not all Primes are on board with this plan.

Ryker is doing his best to start a peaceful revolution. Ty was forced to put his baby in the Offering Grove a few years ago, which led to his wife putting herself in the Offering Grove, so he takes the news particularly hard. After the nulls leave, Ryker tells them that a person from their group is going to be executed. Echo has a better plan: Ryker can put a scope on her bow and she can execute Russell instead. In the Sanctum jailhouse, the group has to decide who will be executed.

Of course, the logical choice for everyone is Murphy. Ty, the man Ryker revealed the truth to, has asked for a meeting with the Primes. He claims to know where Echo is hiding, but really he wants to take this opportunity to murder Simone. He cuts a glass goblet on the table and stabs her in the throat. Russell grabs his wife, but realizing her injury is too severe, he promises to find a way to bring her back.

Josie is having a hard time letting go of these memories, like the time that Gabriel woke up in his second body. When she drops the book, an ax falls to the ground. The more books they throw out, the worse it gets. Clarke says they have to get rid of it all. She sets the airlock to open with the inside door still ajar.

She tells Josie to take cover in her room, and then her nemesis disappears along with all the books. Clarke opens her eyes in the bunker and is getting choked to death by branches… you know, a thing that happens on this planet. Just in the nick of time, Gabriel and Octavia find Clarke. Josie is back in control of the body. They get her out of the bunker and tell her to keep quiet because the Sanctum guards are all around. Instead, Josie starts yelling and the guards surround them.

Before they can do any of that, one of the bodyguards shoots all the others, except Jade. Madi is not pleased with her banished flamekeeper being there, though.

Emori explains to everyone that Sheidheda was dealt with in his time by his own flamekeeper murdering him.As Clarke races against the clock to lower the shield, everyone is at risk in Sanctum.

The difference, of course, is that Russell has had a few decades and multiple bodies worth of life. In this episode, we see how his obsession for eternal life knows no bounds. Once they leave, Abby decides to make herself a nightblood so she can extract her own bone marrow rather than taking from Madi. Abby then apologizes for calling Jackson a war criminal, and they have a tender moment together.

In retrospect, this should have been a sign.

Slight wrench in the plan: When Clarke enters the machine shop, she finds Ryker dead. He says they have enough hosts and bone marrow doses to resurrect everyone. Outside the walls, Gabriel and his crew approach the radiation barrier. Bellamy wants him to cross over and help Clarke, but Octavia tells him to have faith in her to get it done.

Clarke is on the hunt to find Priya, whom she can use to get the barrier down. She finds her in the bar, where Gaia, Echo, and Miller are hiding. Thinking that the two are going to wipe a host, the trio comes out to kill them. She fills them in on the plan. Banished from the lab, Abby, Raven, and Jackson wait in the hall of Prime bones.

She says she focused on what she lost, not on what she has. Russell comes in and ruins the moment. He has five hosts with him, but Abby points out she made six blood marrow doses. He smiles and injects her in the neck. As she falls asleep, she has flashes of her life: Clarke as a baby, her husband, Marcus, and I think you all know where these red flags are going.

Gabriel walks into Sanctum and drops the red sun toxin into the water. Immediately after, a guard notices and Gabriel asks to be taken to Russell Prime.

Face to face, the two foes argue about the meaning of life. Meanwhile, Clarke has convinced Priya to take down the shield. Echo has an idea: They use the truth. As people start to murmur and take in the truth, Russell puts an end to it with a red sun bomb.

The Children of Gabriel have masks, but everyone else starts fighting. Things are getting ugly, so Bellamy, Echo, Octavia, and the Children of Gabriel close themselves into a room to take cover.

And before she knows it, Abby walks in. Holding my breath until next week… How are you all doing? Save FB Tweet ellipsis More.

Is it possible to peacefully transition a corrupt regime that commits violence, albeit with a sheen of gentility? And of course, in a world where there are no good guys or bad guys, which way is up, morally speaking?

I hope this season teaches the characters on The that there are no good guys and bad guys — everyone has stains on their souls. Bellamy and Clarke learned this lesson best and earliest, which is likely the thing that has bonded them together so strongly.

Or rather, the category of things that have bonded them together. Even if you just start with the early days with mercy-killing Atom, their views on hanging Murphy or notand closing the drop ship doors, there were so many moments of parsing morality that helped the pair form a shorthand and a trust that others still feel on the outside of.

Ad — content continues below. And the writers do a great job. When I thought Josie blinked out of existence, I was genuinely sad for the character to be gone and especially to not get the chance to mourn her. Silly me! Josephine always has something up her sleeve, and she ended up playing herself to death — for now.

Russell seemed to be working on almost a parallel track to Josephine. While she was convincing Clarke she was good while plotting against her, he was convincing himself but acting worse, making one violent Classic Clarke move after another while convincing himself that his brutality was both entirely necessary and completely the fault of Space Kru. She also knows how bad her actions are and feels that, rather than hiding from it or justifying it, as this season has gone to great lengths to show us.

And what will the nulls do about the giant speech Russell gave about how bad Space Kru is, a speech he then blatantly disregarded to let them go when they offered him something he wanted? Simone was right: the illusion of the Primes is over. It was good to see Simone finally distinguished as a character with motivations in her own right. So was negotiating the punishment for Space Kru. Like someone whining because they were called out for saying something racist and trying to blame the whistleblower, Russell thinks Sanctum was A-OK until Clarke, Jordan, and the gang ruined it by bringing attention to those flaws.
